How to freeze fruit

When frozen, fruits lose their natural texture so they should only be used for juices, jams and ice creams. Most fruits can be frozen for up to 12 months, with the exception of avocados that must be frozen for a maximum of 3 months.

Some important suggestions before freezing:

- Strawberry and grape: remove the leaves and stems and let it dry well before freezing.
- Plum, peach, apple and pear: remove the central part where the seeds and seeds are located, chop and pack in specific bags or jars for freezing.
